Storytelling with heart.
Audiobook narration and production.
" Sarah Brands narrated my book with such emotional richness and authenticity, it gave me goosebumps. Listening to her narrate my book was like hearing myself tell my own story."
Jean Muenchrath, Author, If I Live Until Morning, A True Story of Adventure, Tragedy and Transformation
"Sarah has truly been a gift in bringing my characters to life on audio! I couldn’t imagine anyone else as Maddie, and all of my readers agree. Sarah is a pleasure to work with. She keeps the lines of communication open and is always right on schedule. I’m very blessed to have her as the narrator for the Thunderbird Academy."

Let's talk about your story.
Sarah is professionally trained in audiobook narration by coaches such as Marguerite Gavin, Johnny Heller, and Emily Lawrence, and is always adding new skills to her repertoire, such as analyzing text to find the heart of the story and create authentic characters. She is an actor with a general American accent and a quick study with new accents.
Sarah has had a long love affair with audiobooks and storytelling. She first fell in love with Little Dragon by Jay O’Callahan at age 5 and has been hooked ever since. Back then, of course, they were books on tape. From monologues to musicals, teaching a group of elementary students to speaking in front of large groups of adults, from reading aloud to first graders (with a standing ovation I might add) to volunteering at Learning Ally, Sarah has enjoyed performing and telling stories in a variety of settings. Nothing beats working with an author or publisher to bring a book to audio.
Outside of reading and narrating, she enjoys being a mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor. You can find her baking (when there’s not a flour shortage due to a pandemic), hiking, and dabbling in writing and drawing. Sarah finds herself interested in many things, reflected by her work history: waitress, barista, restaurant mascot (she may or may not have worn a toga and olive branch crown while holding a marquee board advertising $5 spaghetti on Main Street), licensed forklift driver, special education teacher, reading therapist, sales professional, and professional learning facilitator. Currently she daylights in literacy education technology sales and moonlights in her home studio.
She lives in Virginia, grew up in Oklahoma, and a piece of her heart will always be in Colorado.
“Sarah was a dream to work with. She nailed the pacing of scenes and the voices of different characters. She even went the extra mile to get the right nuances for the type of Southern accent I was looking for. The production quality is fabulous, and I’ve heard so much good feedback from readers. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!”
